Prophet Ibrahim [PBUH] 4

The father of Prophets and the second of the four Messengers with Will

When Ibrahim [PBUH] decided to migrate with his companions of believers, he went out towards Egypt. Egypt was governed, at that time, by a pharaoh of the first pharaohs. His name was Sanan ibn Elwan ibn Obaid ibn Awlag ibn Emlaq ibn Lawiz ibn Sam ibn Noah [PBUH]. They also that his name was Twotis. When Ibrahim [PBUH] entered the land of Egypt, he was told that Egypt has a tyrant king who loves beautiful women, and take them by force. When Ibrahim [PBUH] knew that, he hid sayyda Sarah [AAH], as she was more beautiful and good looking than any woman in her time. He hid her in a box from the people of the king, who used to stay on the roads to collect something like the fees for country entrance. When they saw Ibrahim [PBUH] and the box with him, they stopped him and insisted on opening the box to see what is inside. When they opened it they found a woman whose beauty they never seen before. So they took them to the king. The king asked sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH]: who is this woman? sayydi Ibrahim said: My sister - he meant: sister in Allah - the king said: Marry me to her. Ibrahim [PBUH] said: She is already married. The king took her by force. When the king got close to her and tried to touch her, his hand went paralyzed, so he cried and asked her to forgive him and pray for his hand to heal. He said that he will not do it again. She prayed for him and his hand went back to normal again. But when he looked at her, he forgot what happened and tried to grape her again. So what happened before, happened again, and he asked for her forgiveness again and she did. He did back to what he did before. They said that this thing was repeated three or seven times until he repented a true repentance. So Allah saved and protected her for the protection of His servant, messenger, and intimate beloved Ibrahim [PBUH]. The king called for sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH]. When sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] came to the king, he was kind to him and gave him back sayyda Sarah [AAH]. The king also gave a slave who was sayyda Hajer [AAH]. Sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] went out of Egypt to Sham with his company for fear that the king might do back what he did before. They came to a valley called the valley of Sabe'. Sayydi Lout [PBUH] went down to the "Mo'taficat" which was the walk of a day and half away from the valley of Sabe'. Allah sent Lout as a prophet. Sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] made a well and a home at the valley of Sabe'. When the people of the valley of Sabe' saw the well, they got greedy and wanted to take the well for themselves. So they hurt sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH], and so he moved away and left them. But then the well dried up. They went after him and asked him to return back but he [PBUH] refused and gave them seven goats and said "get them to the well and its water will come back up. It will become a pure well. Then drink from it but never let any menstruating woman drink from it directly". They took the goats and went to the well. When the goats stood by the well, its water came up. They kept drinking from it until a menstruating woman took a handful from its water directly, then it dried up. Sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] stayed between a place called "Ramlah" and another one called "Illiya" in a twon called "Qut".

At that time sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] married sayyda Hajer [AAH]. She got pregnant and gave birth to sayydi Ismail [PBUH]. Sayyda Sarah [AAH] got jealousn [AAH], who was barren and never gave birth. Sayyda Sarah [AAH] said to Ibrahim: do not let her live with me in the same town, we can not be in one country together.

Sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] went out with sayyda Hajer [AAH] and sayydi Ismail [PBUH] until they got to the place of Ka'ba. He set them their and started going back. Sayyda Hajer [AAH] followed him and asked him: What are you leaving us with? is it with food to support us? Is it with drink to support us? He did not answer her, so she said: Is this the order of Allah? He said: Yes. She said: Then He will not waste us. She stayed and sayydi Ibrahim [PBUH] went in his way back. When he [PBUH] came to the valley, he prayed and said [O our Lord! I have made some of my offspring to dwell in a valley without cultivation, by Your Sacred House; in order, O our Lord, that they may establish regular Prayer: so make the hearts of some people yearn towards them and provide them with fruits: so that they may give thanks] Ibrahim 14:37.

So what did sayyda Hajer [AAH] and sayydi Ismail [PBUH] do under these circumstances? What was their story? That would be the next time ISA. Allah's prayer and peace be upon sayyduna Mohammad, his family and companions.
