Precedence of the Light of the Prophet [PPBUH]
[O, first of
creatures, in his existence Alif
With him the harmony occurs, O, chord of guidance]

Where Alif is the first
letter of the Arabic alphabetic. For the occasion of the Honored
Prophet Mawlid, may Allah brings it back to us and to the whole
world with goodness, prosperity, and blessings, we started to shade
some light on fixed fact in the book of Allah which is the
precedence of his light [PPBUH]
over everything else that Allah, Almighty, created. Prayers and
Peace be upon you sayydi O, Messenger of Allah, as this fact is a
secret between you and Allah, Almighty. No one of Allah's creatures
was in to that secret which is also closeness between the Lord
Almighty and his beloved, chosen one, and the best of his creature
and Messengers. This secret is only known by Allah and has not be
given to any of His creatures. The saints have interceded with him,
the knowledgeable ones and Imams, in whose chests Allah revealed his
Qur'an from A to z, have clarified the precedence of his light. [Rather,
it is distinct verses within the chests of those who have been given
knowledge. And none reject Our verses except the wrongdoers]
al-Ankabout
29:49. As the
verses in all Qur'an has the same words but the difference is in the
meanings. So only the hearts of the dumb people deny the meaning
given to us by these great knowledgeable ones mentioned in this
honorable verse. These are wrongdoers to themselves as they denied
it the great facts and the high honorable meanings, which if had
known they would have gone straight as their creator ordered them,
and hears would have been enlightened with light of
 Allah the Truth
Almighty, and they would have been saved from the miserable
destination.
Instead they became as
if each one of them has his own Qur'an and method. That is why they
had differences and they accused each other of being a disbeliever.
So they have become groups and parties, although Qur'an and our
Messenger have ordered us not fight each other and not be against
each other. [And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not
dispute and then you would lose and your wind would depart; and be
patient. Indeed, Allah is with the patient]
al-Anfal 8:46.
And if being enemies with the saints of Allah would get them into
war with Allah Almighty.
Abo-Hurayra [AAH] said: the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH]
said (Allah Almighty said: whoever becomes enemy with a saint of
Mine, then I declare war on him. And there is more beloved to me
that my servant can do to get closer to than what I ordered him to
do. And my servant would still be getting closer to me with the
supererogatory deeds, until I love him. And if I love him, I become
his hearing that he hears with, his sight that he sees with, his
hand that he beats with, and his leg that he walks with. And if he
asks me, I would give him. And if he asks protection, I would
protect him).
al-Bukhary. So what about those who undermine the value of the
Prophet [PPBUH]
for the people, saying that he is only human like us, without
completing the verse? Claiming that there is no glorifying except
for Allah, Almighty, as if they have not read [And whoever
honors the symbols of Allah - indeed, it is from the piety of hearts]
al-Hajj 22:32.
And if we are ordered to honor all the symbols of Allah, Almighty,
would not have to honor he who collects all these symbols, he who
have Qur'an as his manners and he is on an exalted standard, i.e. he
over the exalted standard. No one knows his value except Allah,
Almighty. Not only that, but he is the first to be created by Allah,
and sayydi Adam [AAH]
interceded with him to Allah. His light is the first thing created
by Allah, then Allah created from his light all worlds. Imam
Fakhreddin [AAH]
talks about his light precedence and says:
[O, first of
creatures, in his existence Alif
With him the harmony occurs, O, chord of guidance]

So he [PPBUH]
for the
creatures is like Alif to all letters. As Alif is the first letter
and if we looked at them all, we will find that they are all made
from a shaped Alif. And if we pronounce any letter it will not be
without Alif. Allah, Almighty said about him [And We have not
sent you except as a mercy to the worlds]
al-Anbya 21:107.
i.e. mercy to mankind, jinn, birds, trees, and everything. As
anything that has mercy only has it from his mercy [PPBUH], which is a gift from Allah to the creatures. Allah, the Truth
Almighty, says [If you had spent all that is in the earth, you
could not have brought their hearts together; but Allah brought them
together. Indeed, He is Almighty and All-Wise]
al-Anfal 8:63.
 Then there has to be
Dhikr with the name Allah in order for the hearts to be brought
together, and this is the meaning of [but Allah brought them
together]. Then if we read [Allah is the Light of the
heavens and the earth. The example of His light is like a niche
within which is a lamp, the lamp is within glass, the glass as if it
were a pearly star lit from a blessed olive tree, neither of the
east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow even if untouched
by fire. Light upon light. Allah guides to His light who wills. And
Allah presents examples for the people, and Allah is Knowing of all
things]
an-Nour 24:35.
So who is this
blessed olive
tree that glows that heart which became a pearly star from plenty of
Dhikr? It is the Messenger of Allah [PPBUH] and his pure family and household. That is the meaning of [With
him the harmony occurs], because the light of the name Allah when
lightens the heart of the one with Dhikr, then those of Dhikr are
brought together in harmony loving and beloved. This light is
lightened except from the blessed tree which is the Beloved Chosen
One [PPBUH].
His being described as olive, is because olive oil does give smoke.
The saying [O, Qab of guidance] is like the Qur'anic verse [And
was at the chord of two bows or closer]
an-Najm 53:9.
So no one got closer to his Lord to take from Him than he [PPBUH]
did. That is why his guidance was the highest. If we say the cord of
the two bows, it is an indication of closeness. As he [PPBUH]
is the closeness to Allah's guidance and he is closest means to get
closer to Allah, Almighty. About him Allah said [Say "If the
Most Merciful had a son, then I am the first of worshippers"]
az-Zukhruf 43:81.
Ibn Ageeba said: if the Most Merciful had a son as you claim [then
I am the first of worshippers] i.e. the believers in Allah
as the only God, so nulling your sayings, because whoever worships
Allah as the only God, he would null the saying that he has a son.
In the signs, ibn
Ageeba said: O, Mohammad, say that if the Most Merciful had a son as
you claim in Essa and the angels, it would have been me, as I am the
first to worship him before existence. As the first light to appear
was my light, and it worshiped Allah for many years. Then all
creatures emerged from it. And whoever was the first to an obeying
is entitled for closeness. So why did you gave that relation to the
angels and Essa, while I preceded them with the worship, rather they
have only existed from my light. But there is no son for Him
Almighty, and I am His servant and Messenger. Imam Gafar as-Sadiq
said "the first thing Allah created, was the light of Mohammad [PPBUH],
before anything else. And the first to testify to the unity of
Allah, of all his creatures, was the gem of Mohammad [PPBUH].
And the first thing to be written by the Pen was: there is no god
but Allah, and Mohammad is the Messenger of Allah".
End of Imam Gafar's
words. The
Messenger of Allah [PPBUH], when asked when have you been made a Prophet, O, Messenger of
Allah? He said (I was a prophet while Adam is still in the mud).
Al-Bayhaqi,
Abo-Na'im, ibn al-Gawzy, and at-Turmuzy
with the words (while Adam was between the soul and the body).
 Once more
the Prophet [PPBUH]
answered a question saying (I was a prophet while Adam was
between mud and water). Ibn ar-Rabie ash-Shaybani said: as
for the Hadith that is most known to people with the words (I was
a prophet while Adam was between mud and water), our sheikh
said -he meant Mohamed ibn Abdel-Rahman as-Sakhawy- I could not find
it with these words.
The Qur'anic evidence
of his light's precedence [PPBUH]
is in the Sura al-Insan, verses 1 and 2 [Has there come upon
man a period of time when there was not a thing mentioned? ¤ Indeed,
We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We
made him hearing and seeing]. Some interpreters said that
the man here is about our father Adam, but the masters from the
people of Allah [AAT]
said that sayydi Adam was not created from a sperm-drop mixture, so
the one that is meant by this verse is the perfect human being
sayyduna Mohammad [PPBUH].

Ageeba's words.
If we studied the words
of Allah [Has there come upon man a period of time when there
was not a thing mentioned?] the man that came upon him a
period of time when there nothing even mentioned is sayyduna
Mohammad [PPBUH]
before time and before place, the beloved of Allah, the Imam of the
messengers, the Imam of all pious people, and the gifted Mercy for
all the worled. Our beloved, our great man and our intercessor. May
Allah, for His love to the Prophet, the Prophet's love to Him, and
the secret between them, may He forgive us and fix our conditions.
May Allah makes his Mawlid the start of all goodness and the end of
all badness, for us and for the whole Islamic nation and the whole
world, Amen. And Prayers and Peace be upon sayyduna Mohammad and his
family and companions.
