'and Reveal to me every concealed secret' (from as-salat adh-Dhatiya).

This is the motto of this section, which is for information and stories from Islam that was either told by great old Moslems or accepted and supported by Islam. It is also for the Sufi rare information told by the people of Allah.

Once upon a time

 Sayiduna Adam [PBUH]

Before sayiduna Adam was created, Allah did write on the throne [L0! I am about to place a viceroy in the earth] (Al-Baqarah 2:30), then, Allah created sayyiduna Adam [PBUH] bestowing upon him the distinguishing feature of perfection.

You may also quote Prophet Muhammad [PPBUH] when he said: (Allah has created Adam to resemble Him), i.e. to be the shadow of His perfection. That’s why it was innate in him to receive all Allah's names. Adam is the sum of the whole world, when it comes to the facts, for he is an independent world and any other creature is a part of the world.

Adam was named as so, because the word ‘Adam’ is derived from the word ‘Adeem’ which means: the soil of the earth. For Adam was created from the soil of the earth. When angels saw him, they knew nothing about him but his outer appearance, yet his inner content was utterly unknown to the angels and all other creatures.

What they saw of him was a contradicting formula of dust, air, water and fire. Thus, they prejudged him as being corrupt, owing to his origination. They knew that such nature must have its impact on him in one way or another. That’s why they said addressing Allah: [Wilt Thou place thereon one who will pervert thereon and will shed blood? while we hymn thy praise] (Al-Baqarah 2:30). Allah then replied saying: [Surely I know that which ye know not] (Al-Baqarah 2:30).

If the angels knew his inward and the image Allah created him to resemble, they might have seen themselves as a part of his creation. For the whole world is the details of Adam. Adam is deemed to be an all-inclusive book. We may say that Adam to the world is like the soul to the body. As man is the soul of the world and the world is his body. Hence, if man is to be detached from the world, world will be like a dead soulless body lying on the ground. So, man completes the world as much as soul completes the body. Man is breathed into the world’s body, and he is the axe and target of such world. Thus, Allah assigned angels as messengers to him, and named them 'Mala’ikah', i.e. messangers, which is derived from the word ‘al-Ma’alikah’ i.e. message.

Allah has commanded the angels to circumambulate with Adam through the seven heavens, where he saw wonders, and then Allah showed that to the angels and said: [tell me of the names of theses, if ye are truthful] (Al-Baqarah 2:31). This was Allah’s answer to their saying [Wilt Thou place thereon one...], and when they failed to answer, Allah Almighty said: [O Adam! Inform them of their names] (Al-Baqarah 2:33). What is meant by such names is not just the names of objects like people or inanimate bodies. Sayyiduna Adam said: 'O Jebreel! Allah has created you from his name Al-‘Alim (the Omniscient), and has assigned you to work with the name Al Khabir (The All-Expert)', and he did that with all angles. Each angel is assigned to a certain job and does not know any other, so angels admitted their helplessness and said: [Be glorified! We have not knowledge saving that which thou hast taught us] (Al-Baqarah 2:32). Then Allah said [Did I not tell you that I know the secret of the heavens and the earth? And I know that which ye disclose and which ye hide] (Al-Baqarah 2:33). Commentators said that [which ye hide] is referring to the cursed Satan; for the hatred he harbored and the grudge he beard against Adam.

This matter needs to be elaborated, as Satan will always be trying to vent his poison in the hearts of Adam’s sons (mankind) till the day of judgment out of grudge against their father (Adam).

Allah has attended to Adam in three main affairs: his creation, his knowledge of the names, and making him Allah's viceroy on earth.
