This is the motto of this section, which is for information and stories from Islam that was either told by great old Moslems or accepted and supported by Islam. It is also for the Sufi rare information told by the people of Allah.

 Shith [PBUH]

When Habil was murdered, the Earth was shaken, the Sun eclipsed, thorns grew in trees, the taste of fruits changed, the color of flowers became pale, and the taste of water became salty.  Adam felt a contraction in his chest and that something huge has happened.  He went out to see all these things had happened to the Earth. Then, he knew that Habil (Abel) died and that Qabil (Cain) escaped with Habil’s sheep and Eqlima (Awan or his sister and later his wife).

Adam was extremely sad and cried a lot. They say that Adam said the following verses in the death of Habil, it is translated from Seryanian Language:

[The country and everything changed           The face of Earth became dusty and ugly]

[Everything, with taste and color, changed      beautiful faces are out of cheerfulness]

[Why do not I wail spilling tears                                    with sleepless and Sore eyelid]

[Qabil killed his brother; Habil                                                Oh, my poor bright face]

Adam stayed sad for almost 5 years during which he never touched Eve. Allah inspired to him: {for how long will you keep weeping and mourning? You would be compensated with another son who would be a veracious prophet. This son will be the father of all prophets to the end of the world. His sign is that he would be born alone- as Eve was always delivering twins. So when he is born you will call him Shith, which means- in Arabic- Abdullah}. Eve had an easy pregnancy with him and delivered him easily.  When Seth grew up, Adam left to him the running of his brothers' affairs. Adam resorted to isolation to worship his Lord. Shith ruled his brothers with justice for long time, until one day he was summoned by Adam [PBUH]...

As for Qabil, he kept wandering on Earth, until he arrived to Aden in Yemen where he settled down.  Satan found in Qabil an easy prey and decided to take him under his flag.  In order to increase hatred in his heart and stray him more and more from the repentance of His Lord, he told him: Fire has burnt Habil’s sacrifice because he was servicing and worshipping it. If you worship it as well, you will attain your goals. Satan became extremely happy, because he not only drove a wage between Adam’s sons but also he took Qabil under his flag.

Back to Shith, when his father summoned him, Shith went to his father's secluded place. Adam told him: "O son, Allah has inspired to me to teach you whatever I know, and to tell you all what happened and what is going to happen". Then Adam informed Shith of the flood, the destruction of the world and a lot more.  Then, he gave him a piece of white silk in which there were the pictures of all prophets to come and all those who will own and rule the world. Then Adam gave him some of his beard hair to keep safe with this piece of white silk. He said to him: "O son, If you are going to do something important, take my hair with you. You will beat your enemies, as long as you have this hair with you. When you see this hair turns white, this means you will die soon, within the year”. He also told him to fight Qabil. 

When Adam died, Shith went to fight Qabil, and this was the first war between human beings on earth. Shith won and Qabil was taken as a captive.  Qabil said to Shith- while he was a captive- “Shith, keep our kinship!”.  Shith replied: “why didn’t you keep it, when you killed your brother Habil?” Then, Shith restraint Qabil, with hands tied to his neck, and made him stand in the hot sun until he died. When Qabil’s sons wanted to bury him, Satan came to them in the form of an angel and told them not to bury him under the ground. He brought them two marble stones and made a cavity in them. He told them to dress Qabil in the best clothes, put some medicine on his body in order for it not to dry, put him between these two stones, and put him in a house in a high place. Decorate him in the best decoration and order whoever gets to visit him to kneel three times before him. He also ordered them to make an annual festival to him in which they gather around him. 

Shith married Habil’s sister and had a son, he called him Anosh. Prophet Mohammad’s light was in Shith’s forehead, after transferring to him from his father; Adam. This light was- in turn- converted to his son; Anosh. So he knew that his end is soon, and when he looked at his father’s hair, he found them turned white. He died in this same year after he was almost 900 years old.
