'and Reveal to me every concealed secret' (from as-salat adh-Dhatiya).

This is the motto of this section, which is for information and stories from Islam that was either told by great old Moslems or accepted and supported by Islam. It is also for the Sufi rare information told by the people of Allah.

Sayydi Yusuf [PBUH] 5

Allah said in His honorable book [So We made it for Yusuf, to own the earth and do what he wants with it, that We give Our Mercy to whom We please, and We do not waste the reword of the excellently doing people] Yusuf 12:56. Sayydi Yusuf was one of the excellently doing people, rather he was the best at his time, so Allah gave him the control over the land of Egypt, until he owned it all. This came, when got the control over the country matters, by striving to collect food and increase agriculture until the drought years came. And dryness spread all over the countries of Egypt, Sham [Syria] and the surroundings.

Allah, Almighty, telling us about the brothers of Yusuf when they got despaired from taking back their brother Benjamin from him: they talked privately to each other, and their eldest, Robil said [Know you not how your father took a covenant from you in Allah’s name] Yusuf 12:80, to get him back to me unless you are cornered? You broke his covenant and you wasted him as you wasted his brother Yusuf before him, I do not have a face to meet him anymore. [I shall not go forth from the land], I will stay here [until my father gives leave] to come to him [or Allah judges for me] by letting me get my brother back to my father [He is the Best of Judges] Yusuf 12:80, [Return unto your father and say: O our father! Lo! your son has stolen] i.e. tell him what you directly saw [We testify only to that which we know; we are not guardians of the Unseen] Yusuf 12:81 and [Ask the township where we were, and the caravan with which we travelled hither] as the news we told you about our brother is now known for all Egypt and even the caravan with which we came. [Lo! we speak the truth] Yusuf 12:82. [he said: Nay, but your minds have beguiled you into something. So comely patience], ibn Ishaq and others said: their father said that only because the loss of Benjamin was a result of the loss of Yusuf. Some ancestors said: some of the reword of the bad deed is a bad deed that follows.

Then he said [it may be that Allah will bring them all unto me] he meant Yusuf, Benjamin, and Robil. [Lo! He, only He, is the All-Knower] , i.e. of my condition of the beloved separation. [the All-Wise] Yusuf 12:83, i.e. of all what He does and makes as fate, and he has the great wisdom and overwhelming evidence. [And he turned away from them] i.e. his sons. [and said: Alas, my grief for Joseph!] his new grief reminded him of the old one, and moved what was calm of his emotions, as someone said:

[move your heart as you wish in love

but love is only for the first beloved]

[And his eyes were whitened with the sorrow] i.e. from so much weeping [that he was suppressing] Yusuf 12:84, i.e. he used to suppress his sorrow, sadness, and anxiety for Yusuf. So when his sons saw his suffering [They said] out of mercy and kindness for him [By Allah, you will never cease remembering Yusuf till your health is ruined or you are of those who perish!] Yusuf 12:85.

They said: You keep remembering him until your body became slim and you became so weak, why do not you be easy on yourself? [He said: I complain of my grief and sorrow only unto Allah, and I know from Allah that which you know not] Yusuf 12:86. he said to his sons: I am not complaining to you or anyone else, I am only complaining to Allah, Almighty, and I know that Allah is going to make me a way out of that and a relief. And I know that the dream of Yusuf will come true; we all are going to prostrate ourselves to him, according to what he saw, that is why he said [and I know from Allah that which you know not] then he told them to go search for Yusuf and his brother [Go, O my sons, and ascertain concerning Yusuf and his brother, and despair not of the Spirit of Allah. Lo! none despairs of the Spirit of Allah save disbelieving folk] Yusuf 12:87. i.e. do not despair of the relief after the distress, as no one despairs of the Spirit of Allah or His relief and way out fate from distress except the disbelieving people.

Allah Tells about the return of Yusuf’s brothers to him and their desire to get his gifts and alms through giving them back Benjamin [when they came before him they said: O ruler! Misfortune has touched us and our folk] i.e. the poverty and our children are many [and we bring but poor merchandise] i.e. our goods are poor and unacceptable except if you waive your rights. They say it was a few bad Dirham and they said it was few pine nuts and a few terebinth seeds or so. Ibn Abbas said: some cloths and robs or so. [so fill for us the measure and be charitable unto us. Lo! Allah will requite the charitable] Yusuf 12:88. they said by returning our brother to us. Sufian ibn Uiaynah said: alms was forbidden only to our Prophet Muhammad [PPBUH]. And he took this verse as evidence. narrated by ibn Garir.

When he saw their condition and what they came with he knew they had nothing left, so he got closer and kinder to them. He said to them about his and their Lord and uncovered his forehead which they know and [He said: Know you what you did unto Yusuf and his brother in your ignorance?] Yusuf 12:89. [They said] while wondering so much, as they came to him many times without knowing him [Is it indeed you who are Yusuf?] [He said: I am Yusuf and this is my brother] i.e. I am Yusuf, the one with whom you did what you did [and this is my brother] is a confirmation and referring to how they envied and tricked them. That is why he said [Allah has shown us favor] by being kind to us, sheltering us, and giving us honor for what we obeyed Him before, for being patient unto what you did to us, for being obedient to our father, and because of our father’s great love and pity for us [Lo! he who wards off and endures; for lo! Allah loses not the wages of the good kindly] Yusuf 12:90.

[They said: By Allah, verily Allah has preferred you above us, and we were indeed sinful] Yusuf 12:91. i.e. Allah preferred you and gave you what He gave not to us [and we were indeed sinful] for what we did to you, and here we are before you. [He said: No blame for you this day!] i.e. I am not reproaching you for what you did anymore after today, then he continued: [May Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy] Yusuf 12:92. then he told them to go with his shirt, the internal shirt, and put it on the eyes of his father, and he will regain his sight back after he was blind, with the permission of Allah. This is one of the miracles and signs of prophecy. Then he ordered them to get all their families and folks to Egypt, to goodness, kindness, and reunion after dispersion and where things will be at its perfect conditions.

Abdel-Raziq narrated that ibn Abbas said [When the caravan departed] he said: when the caravan departed, there came a wind that took the smell of Yusuf’s shirt to Yaqub [their father had said: Truly I am conscious of the breath of Yusuf, though you call me dotard] Yusuf 12:94. he said that he found the smell of Yusuf from a three days walking distance. Al-Hasan al-Basri and ibn Garig said: from a distance of 70 leagues and 80 years after they were separated. And he said [though you call me dotard] you would say I became old or mentally disordered. [They said: "By Allah! truly you are in your old wandering mind"] Yusuf 12:95. they said a hard word to him.
