'My Loved ones study my words with each other' (qasida 1:7)

This is the motto for this section, which is for the meanings that come out of the brothers and sisters group studies [Tadarus].

You can find all special expressions in the Glossary. We need your comments to develop this site for you.

We have postponed our study for the cordiality because of the due study about sayyduna Imam al-Husain who is the grandfather of all those who deserve cordiality;

Master of the Martyrs 2

In continuation to what we started last issue of study to the Qasida # 24 were he [AAH] said:

[What could you say while you are you, and who is he?

how could you see him while he is veiled] (24/2)

In the dictionary of "the Arab Tongue", ibn Manzour said: the veil [Litham] is when a woman covers her mouth and nose with her mask and when a man covers his nose with his turban. There are some differences by al-Farra', but the main idea remains the same.

[As for the veil, he, the on with intensive concern, is veiled

beyond any comprehension of the people of beaming brightness] (1/354)

[He is the beloved, and his request is never to be ignored

I inherited him a secret, and he has my veil] (15/2)

[Today I uncover, off my sayings, a veil

which was necessary, because something new has come] (42/1)

[That is why I had some matter within you

but I covered it with the curtains of veil] (49/2)

So we understand from the language and from the Qasida's that the veil is a sort of cover and curtain. The one with intensive concern is covered from the insights of the people of beaming brightness who are the righteous advancing people, as by the interpretation of ibn Agiba "the Expanded Sea" about Allah's saying [You will recognise in their faces the beaming brightness of Bliss] al-Mutaffefin 83:24. This means that his rank is beyond comprehension, i.e. his closeness to Allah and his high ranking with Him Almighty. So this Qasida teaches us the rules of the visit to this great man from point of view of politeness and also from the view of gracefulness of the request. Because you, with your humble knowledge, do not know what to ask in order to gain the highness. The Prophet [PPBUH] has said a Hadith about the master of Martyrs Mawlana Imam al-Husain [AAH], narrated by Abo-as-So'ud in his interpretation of "al-Bourda", that the Prophet said (the healing is in his dust, the answering of prayers is under his doom, and the Imams are from his descendants or his kinship). written on the door of his Maqam. He is from those whom Allah, Almighty, has chosen, as He said [Allah did choose Adam and Noah, the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran above all people, Offspring, one of the other: And Allah is the All-hearer the All-Knower] 'Aal 'Umran 3:33-34. As he [AAH] from the family of sayyduna Muhammad [PPBUH] the master of all creatures, who are the chosen from the family of Ibrahim. He is the son of the Prophet's daughter [PPBUH], who said (Husain is from me, and I am from Husain). This, you are entering, is his tomb not his high rank, so you have to be polite and to know the ethics of the visit, so that he may be pleased with you and lets approach his high rank and enjoy his company. After that you will not need anything but his permission to enter to the company of the Prophet [PPBUH], which is what is meant by the Prophet's saying (and I am from Husain). The people of insights said (Husain is from me) i.e. the son of my daughter, and (and I am from Husain) i.e. whoever wants to come to my company and my neighborhood, he has to come through my door, which is Imam al-Husain [AAH]. In this context, Imam Fakhreddin said:

[The door for the entry to the beloved is surely

the door of the Imam (he meant al-Husain), and what a blessed door] (2/12)

From the slaves of Allah those whom he said about; [The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are their mothers. And those of blood relationship are more entitled, in the decree of Allah, than the believers and the emigrants, nevertheless you may do to your close associates a kindness. That was, in the Book, inscribed] al-Ahzab 33:6. That is why the Prophet [PPBUH] said (No slave of Allah would be a believer unless he loves me, my family, my kinship, and my inner-soul more than his own). narrated by at-Tabarany and al-Bayhaqy in "Sho'ab al-Iman [branches of faith]" from Abdel-Rahman ibn Abi-Layla from his father.

So you must consider when you visit, who is that you are visiting? They are the people of closeness to Allah; [And whoever commits a good deed,We will increase for him good therein. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Appreciative] ash-Shura 42:23. Consider when He said [We will increase for him]. also [Whoever desires the harvest of the Hereafter, We will increase for him in his harvest] ash-Shura 42:20. So whoever wants that harvest with his strong will and continuous seeking to increase his share of Allah's kindness, and with his advance to the truth to get the closeness, [We will increase for him] in his share. So would fix, for him, his eternal life and his worldly one, as the worldly life is under that of the hereafter as like its shadow and image that follows the original.

So the Qasida tells us what to say when we visit his courtyard;

[Say: O, father of generosity, this is my status

You are the wished hope, you are the Imam] (24/3)

So, if Allah, Almighty, has put a great grace in the cordiality of this family of Mohammad as in the previous verses. He also said [the mercy of Allah and His blessings are upon you, people of the house. Indeed, He is All-Praiseworthy and All-Glorious] Houd 11:73. Then the house [Ahl-al-Bait] of the prophets is of the same condition as the house [Ahl-al-Bait] of the Master of all the creatures and the verses and Hadiths that supports that are many. Is not that the ultimate generosity because of them? The divine generosity because of them is the complete grace beyond and more than the original share, as the verses mentioned. So, you would say: "O, you head of this family, reason of divine generosity to us with forgiveness, high grace, and the the increase of our share. You are the father of generosity for us and the wished hope for Allah's accepting us and Allah's changing our status because of our cordiality for you. O, Imam of Imams and righteous people, about whom the Prophet said (and the Imams are from his descendants or his kinship)"

[Say: O, father of granting favors, we are in your sponsorship

This is your sanctuary, garden and Maqam] (24/4)

If the reason for Allah's granting us his favors is when we obeyed Him and His Messenger in the verse [Say "No reward do I ask of you for this except cordiality for my kinship] ash-Shura 42:23. Also [And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, those will be with the ones upon whom Allah has bestowed favor of the prophets, the steadfast affirmers of truth, the martyrs and the righteous. And excellent are those as companions] an-Nisa' 4:69. So wont he be the father of this granting of the favors of Allah, that we ask for every day in all our prayers in each of the 17 Rak'ah [prayer unit] of our 5 daily due prayers. In our prayer, in Fateha, which there cannot be a prayer without it, we ask Allah to guide us to His straight path. That is when we say [Guide us to Your straight path ● the path of those whom You granted Your favors] al-Fateha 1:6-7. Here he is Mawlana Imam al-Husain [AAH], now wont we be in the sanctuary of Allah? Is not entering his sanctuary is in fact entering the sanctuary of Allah?! Every king has a sanctuary and the sanctuary of Allah is His Maharim [the ones protected by Him, so no one is allowed to harm them]. The grave is either a garden of paradise or a hole from hell, and this is the Maqam of the master of martyrs, then it is one of the greatest gardens. The Beloved Prophet [PPBUH] said (If you pass by the gardens of paradise enjoy eating and drinking in it). They said: and what is the gardens of paradise? He said (the circles of Dhikr). narrated by Imam Ahmed, at-Turmuzy, and al-Bayhaqy. How many must these circles be in this yard. The eating and drinking here are those of the souls. Yes, this is your sanctuary garden and Maqam.

[Say: O, you, gift of Allah, who subdued

all the necks so that blood relations are well connected] (24/5)

Is it not with all these meanings That he is a gift from Allah? Is it not with this big favor that the people of the house [Ahl-al-Bait] are a gift for us, with them we get the big favor, the forgiveness, and the goodness' excess share from Allah? As their cordiality would be a reason for Allah Almight and His Messenger [PPBUH]'s acceptance for us, which is what happened before when the Prophet [PPBUH] said (Salman is from us Ahl-al-Bait). Then the faith relationship will be connected to the origin [Truly believers are brothers] al-Hujorat 49:10. As we said before: there is no company with the Prophet [PPBUH] unless through the door of Mawlana Imam al-Husain [AAH], and as [The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are their mothers. And those of blood relationship are more entitled, in the decree of Allah, than the believers and the emigrants, nevertheless you may do to your close associates a kindness. That was, in the Book, inscribed] al-Ahzab 33:6. And when faith is not realized except by loving him, because he is one of the greatest of Ahl-al-Bait. So this is how the faith brotherhood is realized, the kinship relationship is connected, and the branches are connected to the origins. May Allah connects us to him and his family and gives us the company and the subjunction to them, generous Ahl-al-Bait.

To be continued ...
