From the perfect giving

[from the perfect giving of the flooded granting

                                        O, people, Ibrahim has come unto you] 12/1

Today, we will be introduced to a jem in the volume of Sharab al-Wasl for Imam Fakhreddin Mohamed Osman Abdu al-Burhani. He is telling us about his heir and successor - Mawlana Sheikh Ibrahim, about where he came from and how far is his legitimacy. He says, in 'from the perfect giving', that the perfect divine giving to humanity is His sending of prophets, messengers and saints to guide people to the path of knowledge of Allah, Almighty.

Following the Imam's course in:

[Whoever refers my knowledge to Qur'an

                       and also my words, will be benefited and benefiting] 42/21

[Refer all words to Qur'an

                                                      as in Qur'an, the saving of necks] 74/13

If we count the number of words in this qasida (74) until the word 'necks', we will find them 114 words which is the same number of the verses of Qur'an, the fact that confirms the meaning and inimitability in the rhyme.

The Imam says in another verse:

[The origin for me is Sunna from Sunna

                                          that is my tongue has informed and told] 34/10

The Imam, here, is guiding us to the Sunna of Prophet Mohammad [PPBUH]. Therefore, we talk with Qur'an and Sunna. May Allah guide us to the intention of the Imam [AAH].

Abu Dawud, in his Sunnan, and El-Tabarani in his al-Mujam al-Awsat, narrated that the beloved [PPBUH] said (Allah sends to this nation, in the beginning of every hundred years, a man who renews its religion).

Qur'an has used the word 'come unto you' in verse 128 in the sura of al-Tawba; [Surely, a Messenger has come unto you from among yourselves; grievous to him is that you should fall into trouble; he is ardently desirous of your welfare; and to the believers he is compassionate, merciful]. Mawlana has also used the words 'come unto you' in the phrase 'Ibrahim has come unto you'. Allah is the one who sent the Prophet [PPBUH] and the one who sends whoever renews the religion, and thus this makes us feel how important this matter is.

In order to close the door of misunderstanding, for whoever takes it on a different meaning, we give you the following gem of the Imam;

[I am no equal to pole saints or messengers

                                         But, the dress of monotheism is our dress] 35/3

Mawlana sheikh Ibrahim is the successor of Mawlana sheikh Mohamed Osman. He is also among those about whom the Prophet [PPBUH] said (Follow my Sunna and the Sunna of those rightly guided successors after me! Stick tightly to it) and also those He [PPBUH] said about (renews its religion).

This was for the phrase 'Ibrahim has come to you'. As for the giving; we said that 'the perfect giving' of Allah, the Creator, to His creation is the right guidance through prophets, messengers, and saints righteous guiding ones.

We will understand the concept of giving, when we refer the words of the Imam to Qur'an. He [AAH] says;

[from the perfect giving of the flooded granting]

Now lets take a look at this giving that is from the flooded granting. Looking at the word 'grant' in the indexed dictionary of Qur'an and taking into consideration the famous wisdom "If the Lord of creatures grants, do not ask about the reason". We find that this word is mentioned 25 times in the Qur'anic verses. In 19 verses, it bore the meaning of prophecy, inheritance of knowledge, Imam-ship, and the good offspring that will rightly guide people, that is what is clear in the verses. We find that 'grant' in every Sura is connected to one or two prophets; [Praise be to Allah, Who has granted me, in my old age, Ismail and Isaac. Surely, my Lord is the Hearer of prayer] Ibrahim 14:39, [So I fled from you when I feared you; then my Lord granted me right judgment and made me one of the messengers] ash-Shuara' 26:21, [So when he had separated himself from them and from those whom they worshipped besides Allah, We granted him Isaac and Jacob, and each of them We made a prophet] Maryam 19:49, and [and We granted him, out of Our mercy, his brother Haron as a Prophet] Maryam 19:53.

But we want the verse where the name of Allah, the All-Granter floods of this giving, where the Imam [AAH] said [from the perfect giving of the flooded granting]. The number of words of this half verse is 6 words which points to the 6th Sura of the Qur'an which is al-An'am. And the flooding of anything is to become more beyond its need.

We did not see a Sura where the All-Granter flooded the giving like in the Sura of al-An'am, where Allah All-Granter flooded His giving of 18 messenger prophets, as He says [Thus do We reward those who do extreme good], and then He says [And We exalted some of their fathers and their progeny and their brothers,…]. The following verses (83-90) from the Sura of Al-An'am explain all these meanings; [And that is Our argument which We gave to Ibrahim against his people. We exalt in degrees of rank whom so We will. Your Lord is indeed All-Wise, All-Knowing ¤ And We granted him Isaac and Jacob; each did We rightly guide, and Noah did We rightly guide aforetime, and of his progeny, David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward those who do extreme good ¤ And We guided Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias; each of them was of the righteous ¤ And We also guided Ismail and Elisha and Jonah and Lout; and each one did We exalt above the worlds ¤ And We exalted some of their fathers and their progeny and their brothers, and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path ¤ That is the guidance of Allah. He guides thereby whom He wills of His servants. And if they had worshipped aught beside Him, surely all they did would have been of no avail to them ¤ It is these to whom We gave the scripture and authority and prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein, then We have entrusted them to people who are not to be disbelievers therein ¤ These were whom Allah guided aright, so follow their guidance. Say: ‘I ask not of you any reward for it. This is naught but an admonition for all worlds’].

Examine those verses thoroughly and see the giving that Allah has granted prophet Ibrahim; the giving of proof, evidence, authority, prophecy, and guidance. He has also made some of his progeny who will inherit this religion and call for Allah with proof and evidence. These children will inherit ruling, inheritance, succession, prophecy, and saints after the end of the message. Allah said [And We exalted some of their fathers and their progeny and their brothers, and We chose them and We guided them to a straight path]. Therefore, Mawlana sheikh Ibrahim, who is a proven descendant of sayydi Imam al-Husain, is considered one of this progeny who are mentioned in those verses from this granted flood from Allah, Almighty, to whosoever follows the rightly guidance. So it is from this place, he said [AAH]:

[O, people, Ibrahim has come unto you]

May Allah make us of those people guided or guiding by him, his heir and his grandfather [PPBUH], the source of all these pearls! And Allah's prayers be unto sayyduna Mohammad and his kinship and companions.
