'and Reveal to me every concealed secret' (from as-salat adh-Dhatiya).

This is the motto of this section, which is for information and stories from Islam that was either told by great old Moslems or accepted and supported by Islam. It is also for the Sufi rare information told by the people of Allah.

 Harut and Marut

When the angels saw the evil deeds of mankind ascending up to heaven in the days of Idris, they said to Allah: "You have chosen these to be the rulers upon earth, and they have disobeyed you". Then Allah said: [If I send you to the earth, put in you what I put in them, and treat you as I have treated them, you would do just as they do]. They said: “O our Lord, we should not disobey you”. Then Allah said [Choose two angels from the best of you, and I will send them down to the earth”. So, they chose Harut and Marut; who were among the best and most pious amongst them.

Allah placed in their hearts the same lust as in the sons of Adam.  Allah ordered them to rule righteously amongst mankind and forbade them from idolatry, killing without a just cause, adultery and drinking wine. They were judging the people during the day, and when night came ascending to the heavens, worshipping the name of the Almighty. One day, a woman called Zohra, one of the most beautiful women in Persia, had a suit before them, and when they saw her, they fell in love with her, and sought to have her, but she refused and went away. The second day she came again, and they did the same, but she said “no, unless you worship what I worship, and bow down to this idol, kill a soul, and drink wine”. They replied that Allah has forbidden them to do these things, and she departed. The third day again she came, and they desired her. She said the same as the day before, but they replied “to pray to other than Allah is a serious thing, and the easiest of the three is to drink wine”.  So, they drank the wine, became intoxicated, fell upon her and committed adultery. Someone saw it, so they killed him. She also asked them to teach her that by which they can ascend to the heavens. They told her that they ascend by the great name of Allah. She said it and ascended to the heaven, but Allah metamorphosed her into a star.

Therefore, whenever Prophet Mohammad saw a shooting star, he cursed it and said: (May Allah curse Sohail) three times, (As he was taking the tenth of people's money forcibly, so Allah metamorphosed him into a shooting star) narrated by al-Tabarany. The Prophet [PPBUH] used to say: (May Allah curse Zohra, as she seduced the two angels; Harut and Marut) narrated by Ibn Rahawiah and Ibn Mardawiah. 

After committing their sin, they tried to ascend to the heaven at night as usual, but their wings did not help them. They realized, then, their sin, and thus, went to Idris [PBUH] and told him what happened.  They wanted him to ask Allah for their forgiveness, so he did. Allah let them choose between the worldly punishment and the punishment in the hereafter, and they chose the worldly one, because it terminates eventually. They are being tortured right now in a well in Babylon, a town in lower Iraq. They are tied in chains and hanged from their legs. Their eyes are blue. The distance between them and water is only 4 fingers, but they are tortured with thirst. It is said that all the smoke of the world goes into their noses in order to increase their suffering. Allah said [And they follow what the devils used to recite and relate to Solomon’s kingdom. Solomon disbelieved not, but the devils disbelieved, teaching the people sorcery and, teaching them, that which was revealed to the two angels who were, in Babylon; Harut and Marut. They taught not any man, without them saying: ‘We are but a temptation; so do not disbelieve’. So they would learn from them that by which they made a difference between a man and his wife, but they harmed no one thereby, except by the permision of Allah. These people are learning that which would harm them and do them no good. And they have certainly known that he who trafficks therein has no share of good in the Hereafter; and surely, evil is that for which they have sold their souls; had they but known!] al-Baqara 2:102.
In a story narrated by sayyda Aisha [AAH], a woman came seeking Prophet Mohammad [PPBUH], after his death, to ask about something that she got herself into, related to magic, but she did not use it. The woman said:

My husband was absent, so I went to an old woman and complained to her. The old woman told me: “If you do what I tell you, I will make him come back to you”. At night, the old woman brought two black dogs. I rode one and she rode the other. We stopped in Babylon and I saw two men hanged by their feet. They asked me “why did you come?” I said “I want to learn magic” They replied “We are a trial, so do not disbelieve and go back!” I refused.  They said “go to this oven and pee in it!”  I went there and was scared, so I didn’t.  I returned to them, and they asked me what I saw. I said “nothing”.  They replied “so you lied and didn’t pee in there, so do not disbelieve and go home! You are still in control”. I refused. The same thing happened three times. In the third time, I peed in the oven and I saw a knight - in an iron mask - who came out of me and went to the heaven until I could not see him. I went back to them and told them that I did, and told them what I saw. They told me that I was truthful this time, and that it was my faith that came out of me, and that I can go now.  I said to the old woman “I do not know what is going out and they didn’t tell me anything”. She said “no, from now on, you will have everything you want”. She gave me some wheat seeds and said you throw it in the ground and say "sprout", so I did and it sprouted. I said "grow", it grew. I said "shoot", it did. I said "dry", It did. I said "grind", it did. I said "bake", it did. when I saw that I have everything I want, I felt sorry and regret. O, mother of believers, I swear to Allah I never used it, and I will not use it ever.

Sayyda Aisha said “I narrated her story to Prophet’s companions and they didn’t know what to tell her. They were afraid to tell her something that they do not know or not sure about. But they told her that if one or both of her parents were still alive, it would be enough for her.  

Allah says [And if they had believed and acted righteously, better surely would have been the reward from Allah, had they but known!] al-Baqara 2:104. This means that if people believe in Allah and His Prophet and avoid disbelief and magic, they will have a great reward. This is better for them, if they would but know!  Whoever would be busy with the worldly life, follow his lust and whim, and left working with what came from Allah, he will really be a deserter for the Book of Allah. He will be busy with the love for worldly life, leadership, and power. Because worldly life is enchanting and deceiving for the hearts to keep them from the All-Knower, Almighty. Prophet Mohammad said (Be careful of the worldly life! I swear that it is more enchanting than Harut and Marut).  He also said (Brother Jesus said to his disciples “Be careful of the worldly life, as it is more enchanting than Harut and Marut! Know that the worldly life is going away and the hereafter is coming up. They both have children.  Be among the children of the hereafter, not of the worldly life. Today is a day of actions without judgement and tomorrow is a day of judgement without actions”).
